A Canadian citizen recently visited the U. S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) offices in Washington, D. C. on Friday. The CBP agent, who was accompanying the citizen, said he had seen two men with a white mask. The one with a green Viagra sign, he said, was a “buyer’s diarrhea” man.
“We just saw him,” the agent said, “and I said, ‘I’m a law enforcement agent, so you know that, right?’ ”
The man is a retired police officer, and he is in his 40s. He is a regular customer of the CBP office in the Canadian city of Montreal, Canada.
The man who was seen walking into the office, said he was looking for a prescription for a generic drug, Viagra, and was unable to find it. The man then turned around and went to another area of the office where he had an appointment, he said.
“I just heard a very strange noise,” the agent said, “and I thought it was some sort of a gun.”
The man went to his room and found a package, which contained a prescription for the drug, which he told the agent he had obtained in a foreign country. The man said he had no idea he was carrying the prescription and didn’t know the dosage, and didn’t know what it contained, he said.
“I was shocked,” the agent said, “and I asked him what he was doing, and he said he was carrying a prescription for a generic version of Viagra.”
The man said the prescription he had was for the “brand name” Viagra, which is the brand name of the drug sildenafil, which is also sold as Viagra and Viagra-like pills.
The prescription for Viagra, which is available in Canada at $1,100 a pop, costs about $10,000, according to the CBP office. At the time of the encounter, the man was wearing a green and white mask that he said was made of plastic, and was not even wearing a cap. “He didn’t have any face,” the agent said.
The man said he had been drinking and taking pills for the past six months for erectile dysfunction and was not sexually active. He also had used cocaine, which he said is the active ingredient in the drug.
The man told the agent he had bought the prescription because he was worried about the side effects of the drug, but he said he had never taken it before.
“I don’t want to be the judge, but I think it’s important that we bring the drug to the U. and we bring it to Canada,” the agent said.
The CBP office has not responded to a request for comment.
